Roof Fire Leads to a Mess in St Anthony

The electrical short in the attic led to a blaze that burned some ceiling panels, contents, and structural elements. The water and fire damage effects are very visible in the Before Photo. Firefighters exit with no remaining burning embers, but sooty, sticky debris from the mixture with the water-extinguishing efforts remain. Our SERVPRO team can pre-test to determine the correct cleaning products to remove the blackened coatings from porous and non-porous surfaces. Our goal was no demolition, just wipe down, remove malodors, and make sure all assemblies were dried to prevent secondary water damage.
